New VR application from Edvirt

We are thrilled to announce Edvirt’s latest innovation: a cutting-edge virtual reality application for the largest Roadheader, the MT721!

This groundbreaking project was developed in collaboration with Sandvik’s Mechanical Cutting Division. We extend our heartfelt thanks to the entire Mechanical Cutting team for a great collaboration!

The MT721 virtual reality application was showcased at the MINExpo INTERNATIONAL 2024 in Las Vegas, marking a significant milestone in our journey towards technological advancement.

Our ceo has been appointed to the Efnarc Executive Committee

We're happy to share that our CEO, Tomislav Rogan, has been appointed to the EFNARC Executive Committee. In his new role, Tomislav will oversee the Nozzle Operator Scheme and lead Focus Group 1 on the Nozzle Operator Certification Scheme. His expertise will be invaluable in advancing the scheme's development.

Nozzle Operator training in Kazakhstan!

In July, we embarked on a comprehensive 2.5-week Nozzle Operator training (ESCOT) for 19 operators, focusing on enhancing their skills and ensuring operational excellence in Kazakhstan. They did a great job and can now perform their duties safely. We would like to extend a big thank you to Schachtbau and EURAZIYA BUILD GROUP for your hospitality and kindness to our team.

The first half of the year

As the first half of the year wraps up, we reflect on the intense and rewarding journey of delivering training courses across Sweden and globally, with our latest stop in Kazakhstan.
Our team's dedication has been the driving force behind every training session, and it's time for a well-deserved summer break. As we approach the summer break, we're excited to recharge and return in August, ready to empower and educate with renewed energy.

Nozzle Operator training in Hong Kong!

We have some exciting news to share. Earlier this month, the Hong Kong Underground Academy Ltd ran the EFNARC Nozzle Operator Course, using Edvirt’s VR Shotcrete Simulator™. This was the first time the new EFNARC course was held in Hong Kong.
This achievement is a testament to the cutting-edge technology and innovative approach that the HK Underground Academy is committed to. We look forward to supplying simulators and arranging more courses together.

Scaling Simulator to LKAB

We are pleased to announce that we have successfully delivered a new version of the VR Scaling Simulator™ to our long-term client LKAB. The VR Scaling Simulator™ was first released in 2015 after being developed together with the training staff, scaling operators, and technicians at LKAB. The new version includes a new robot JAMA SBU8000B, updated VR functionalities, and an upgraded course package.

Our team has worked tirelessly to make this happen, and we're confident that the new simulator will enable safer and more productive scaling after training completion.

UYAK 2023 5-7 June

During UYAK 2023 5-7 June Edvirt will join the Sika booth A5. Here we will show the Edvirt VR-training simulator for shotcrete operators. So take the chance to chat about the Efnarc industry standard and the impact skilled operators have on the quality, savings, and the environment, try the simulator, or get a demonstration. We will even throw in a competition where the highest score during the exhibition will get a nice prize so don’t miss out.
